The preparatory work of the 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (hereinafter called "the fair" for short) has been ready, was held on September 8th, at Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, thousands of merchants from all over the world attended the conference. The preparatory work of the 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (hereinafter called "the fair" for short) has been ready, was held on September 8th, at Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, thousands of merchants from all over the world attended the fair. After 13 years development, the fair has become an important window for China's opening-up and the current world's largest investment event.
Compared with the last fair, the exhibition scale of the fair has increased by 400 international standard booths, the government agencies, intermediary organizations and companies from 68 countries and regions will display their advantages of investment, investment-attracting environment and opportunities for cooperation to the world through the 3214 booths set up at Xiamen International Exhibition Center.
The fair has has attracted comprehensive attention of the merchants from home and abroad, up to now, there has been a total number of 627 overseas organizations from 108 countries and regions applied and took part in the fair. According to the estimate of the public relation department of the Fair Organizing Committee, there would be about 15,000 foreign businessmen from more than 130 countries and regions arrived at the fair.
The fair for the first time comprehensively takes some important industries as the main line such as new energy, high technology, energy saving and environmental protection, modern agriculture, infrastructure construction, project contracting, service outsourcing, tourism and finance and so on, in the in the individual plates including exhibition, display, project docking and forum, the fair fully highlighted the important industries which are the China's current international investment and cooperation objects and worked hard to promote the exchange and cooperation of international investment in the aspects of investment, investment- attracting and financing.
During the period of holding the fair, there will be 44 various forums and seminars. Among them, the Ministry of Commerce will hold 20 conferences, the content of the conferences will refer to energy-saving and environmental protection, antitrust law, investment risk control and service outsourcing and so on. The relevant state ministries, the organizing committees, some members and other agencies will hold 24 special forums such as overseas Chinese Investment Promotion, Leadership Forum of International Chamber of Commerce, and Capital Forum and so on.
In addition, the fair will fully take advantage of the cross-strait economic cooperation framework agreement (ECFA) and the opportunity of the comprehensive promotion of the west side construction, focus on enhancing the communication and cooperation between Taiwan and mainland.
In response to the slogan of " focusing on the global economy, leading global investment," to build the excellent brand of trade and investment, set up a high-quality two-way investment platform, this year, during the period of holding the 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade, the Fair will hold a "going out" investment project matchmaking symposium for chinese enterprises. So far, there have been more than 100 foreign government agencies and enterprises registered.
The fair is approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, it will be held from September 8th to 11th, every year, in Xiamen, China.
